I am Dipak Dahal, the Campaign Director of "Nepalese in Research," a nationwide initiative dedicated to uniting Nepalese research enthusiasts. My mission is to create a collaborative platform where aspiring researchers can connect, share knowledge, and support each other in their academic journeys.Throughout my career, I have organized numerous educational events across Nepal, inspiring over 100,000 students at prestigious institutions such as Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, Pokhara University, Purwanchal University, and many others. At just 22 years old, I authored "Success Entrance," a bestselling guide that remains a top choice for entrance exam preparation in Nepal. I am also the author of "Hydropower Engineering," a significant contribution to the field.My commitment to education extends beyond traditional academia. I have served as the College Ambassador for Pustak Pariyojana, a national initiative dedicated to building libraries in every prison across Nepal, fostering education and rehabilitation for those in need. Concrete composed of recycled aggregate has been implemented in the construction of buildings due to its potential to mitigate concrete pollution, thereby reducing the environmental impact. However, using recycled plastic materials may compromise mechanical properties such as compressive strength (CS). This study, utilizing a hybridized machine learning algorithm, breaks new ground by demonstrating the effectiveness of these algorithms in predicting CS. For the investigation, ensemble models namely Random Forest and extended gradient boosting (XGB) are applied with two recently efficient optimization algorithms: Krill Herd (KH) and Leopard Seal Algorithm (LSA). The result demonstrates that XGB-LSA behaved exceptionally well in the training and testing sets, with R2 being 0.97 and 0.95, respectively. Assessments also reveal the potential performance of KH. In addition, the 10-fold cross-validation employed during this investigation guarantees that the frameworks make more accurate predictions without the risk of overfitting. Shapley's Additive Explanations (SHAP) analysis assesses the model's explainability behavior. According to a SHAP-based study, binder, recycled plastic aggregate, and curing temperature are critical components that may improve CS if considered. The binder's optimal value is 550 kg/m3, while the recycled plastic's optimal range is less than 25 kg/m3. The water-to-binder (W/B) ratio lies between 0.3 and 0.35. The SHAP interaction graphs corroborate the outcome with experimental findings. Further, a graphical user interface (GUI) is developed, adopting the best model. This study not only assists in comprehending the essential parameters necessary for making well-informed decisions but also opens exciting possibilities for the application of machine learning in fostering sustainable construction practices.
"Comparative Analysis Of Earthquake Design Of Multi-storey Building Using NBC 105:2020 and IS 1893:2023 Draft Version" is carried out with a motive to structurally design, analyze and compare with IS 1893:2023(draft), IS 1893:2016 and NBC 105:2020 including different parameters. Nepal being in a seismically active region has a long history of destroying tremors. The concentration of epicenter in Nepal and the Himalayan area is the subduction of the Indian plate underneath the Eurasian plate. The subduction of the Indian plate is at the rate of 40 cm/year, which causes pressure and stress concertation between plates. Therefore, Seismicity is high in this region, which is subjected to repeated and powerful past tremors. A couple of imperative tremors were in 1255, 1810, 1866, 1934, 1980, 1988 and the most recent was on 2015 A.D. After the seismic tremor in 1988 A.D., the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC) introduced the Nepal National Building Code (NBC) in 1994 AD. The implementation of the NBC code was established when the Ministry of Physical Planning and Works (MPPW) affirmed the Building Construction System Improvement Committee [3]. The seismic analysis of structures in Nepal relies upon NBC 105 (1994). Regardless, most of the current structures in Nepal are analyzed and designed based on the Indian standard code. This is in light of the fact that Nepalese codes require sufficient information to address the current design measures. Therefore, most of the building design exercises in Nepal rely upon Indian books, instructive modules, and codes.
Compressive strength is considered a pivotal mechanical indicator for assessing the quality of high-strength concrete (HSC). The conventional methods to predict the compressive strength of HSC are tedious, less reliable, and time-consuming. Thus, the use of machine learning can be an effective tool in mitigating problems and capturing non-linear relationships better. This study uses Extreme gradient boosting (XGB) as a primary model,and metaheuristics algorithms like Cuckoo Search (CS), Water Strider (WS), Leopard Seal (LS), Harris Hawk (HH), Invasive Weed (IW), and Forest Optimization (FO) for the optimization of hyperparameters.
This study uses Extreme Gradient Boosting (XGB) and Extra Tree Regressor (ETR) as a base model and metaheuristics algorithms like Grey Wolf Optimizer (WO) and Aquila Optimizer (AO) for the optimization of hyperparameters and predict the compressive strength (CS) of GPC predicted on 14 input parameters.

This study reviewed several distinct plants and presented a comparative summary of the numerous GCIs that researchers have utilized.
This study explores using recycled waste glass and plastic fibers as substitutes for fine aggregate in concrete to meet the growing need for sustainable building materials. The basic materials consist of OPC 43 grade and locally obtained river sand. The research incorporates glass powder from crushed beer bottles and plastic fibers from recycled plastic bottles into the concrete mixture. Various tests, including slump, density, compressive strength, and split tensile strength (STS) assessments, are performed to ascertain the characteristics of the modified concrete in both its fresh and hardened states.
